This website is definitely a trustworthy site, and meets all of the needs of CRAAP. This site was edited only a few days ago on February 7th 2018, as listed at the bottom. The links within the article are listed to provide more information on the International Space Station are all working and connect to other valid websites. The page is broken up into logical subheadings about the space station, and is also specifically for grades 5-8. The information on this website would be great for a middle school science class learning about outer space. The website is a ‘.gov’ so it is a restricted domain, which makes it understandable that the information appears to be so trustworthy. Flint Wild, the Senior Education Editor for NASA, made the latest edit to the page. All of the information seems credible and well researched, and there are many primary source photos that NASA has provided on the website. The website is factual and the links lead to more factual information and videos for learning. Anytime that a difficult or unfamiliar word is used it is defined at the bottom of the page, making it very understandable and perfect for student learning. The purpose is really to educate students and get the point across.



This website has tons of information about space innovation. There are many different types of information from historical facts and constantly reporting their innovative improvements within the company. The website has a copyright for 2018 and has links to many posts on their site in order explore many realms of research. Due to how much information this site has to offer it could be confusing for younger students, however the search bar at the top of every page would allow the students to find the specific information that they need relatively easily. There is a link to the company’s About Us page that gives all sorts of information about who the company is and what they do, and how to contact them. This information would definitely be relevant to a project on current aeronautic technology and research. They corroborate their website with their partnerships with the United States Air Force Space and Missile Systems and the National Reconnaissance Office, which are very prestigious groups, as well as their connections with NASA and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration. There are many links to factual research studies and publications for each fiscal year about the sorts of funding that went into certain research projects. The language is grammatically correct, and is not too difficult for students to understand, although some of the research may go over their heads. The purpose of this site is to share the information about new technology and research as well as provides information about experts in the field.
